The RFPW European Championship was introduced at the RFPW Supershow of 27 November, 2014.
It was deactivated due to less use in 2015, but made its return in 2016, and saw Freddy Stahl become the first champion of the new era of the championship.
The most recent edition stems from 2018 when Josh Snyper was awarded the title instead of the now defunct RFPW Academy, where he was the champion.
