Keira Genesis: "Hey Justice, thanks for accepting the invitation. First question: Can you tell me how it felt to finally capture a World Championship, by defeating another World Champion, in Rick Blight Kurvers at the Winter Games PPV?" Justice Stone: "Well, at first it was excitement, and after the show had passed it just turned to self-gratification and relief. All year no matter how good I had been, I had never been able to take down Rick one on one. I knew deep down I could, but after being 0-3 against him during the whole season, even if I didn't want it to it out doubt in my head, but to finally do what I knew I could was amazing, and it capped of me accomplishing basically everything RFPW has to offer and adding myself to its' history." Keira Genesis: "Why did you decide to stop in-ring competition, to become a general manager for Fight Night?" Justice Stone: "After Winter Games and the season ending, the honest question I had to ask myself was "What next?". Don't get me wrong, I don't plan on being a GM for the rest of my career, but being honest with myself, I knew I had fought all the top talent here and won almost everything. I know what it takes to be on top here, I proved that all last year, and I knew about all these new people coming in, so when approached with the offer I knew it was the right thing for not just RFPW, but for me to do for the company I've made a home. But quote me on this, I'll be an active roster member again one day. I may have accomplished almost everything, but I'm not a grand slam champion, and one day I will be." KG: "You've been very keen on Cody Storm, even managing him at Crossroads. What make his star shine bright?" JS: "Potential. Potential. Potential. Knowing that I knew what it took to be at the top, I took it upon myself to hand-pick a protege. I spent a couple weeks looking at the roster, and yeah some of the new guys were winning more, but with Storm, he already had all the confidence a future World Champion needs, and his in ring work, even if he was 1-2 at the time, was also great. I knew he needed a mentor, someone to show him the ropes here, and who better to learn from then the man who finished last season #1? So far, he's proven me right, and I'm going to give him equally fair opportunities to the rest of my roster, but with my help I know he will soon start to accomplish greater and greater things." KG: "Who else are you having your eyes set on?" JS: " I'll give the managerial answer and say the whole roster. Obviously Cody Storm is a main focus, and there are a few others that could have also been protege's, but are complete roster is full of amazing talent. There's not a week that goes by where a move or a match doesn't impress me. I may try to choose another protege down the line for all we know, right now my focus is helping Cody and will stay on that, but that doesn't mean a couple roster members haven't caught their GMs eye, and it's a good eye to catch." KG: "What could still go better in RFPW, and what are you doing to improve on that?" JS: "With trying to work with our new people, and especially only one month in, it's just making sure that everyone can get a chance to shine. I want everyone in the roster to thrive, but this early it can't be done. I'm pushing as much as I can for the newer roster members, without trying to push our longer-term roster members like Dallas or Rick out of the spotlight. The balance is hard, but I feel like it also helps the roster know they have to make it count when they are on the show. Plus, I've only been a GM here for a month, so I'm just working to make sure my job is getting done to the best of my ability." KG: "Finally, how is you working relationship with owner Jeffrey Blight? Do you always see eye to eye and if not, how does that go?" JS: " I feel like Jeffrey would agree that we have a great working relationship. Over the years there's been a couple downs, and I'm man enough to admit it's from my own side completely, but aside from those and especially since the end of last season we have had an amazing work relationship. We are able to communicate about anything involving RFPW and the future without issues, even if we don't see eye to eye we still keep it civil and hear each other's ideas/point of view and come to an agreement. I've never left a meeting or anything with Jeffrey feeling mad or upset about how things are going, and if you ask her I'm sure she would say the same thing." Keira Genesis: "Thank you for being here and having this chat with me. Next time we will have a chat with Chandler Sill!"

Today in the first post of the Squared Circle, our interview with the RFPW European Champion, SKC! JB: "How does it feel to be part of a long running promotion like RFPW?" SKC: "Being apart of RFPW feels great! Lots of talented individuals and teams here! Dare I say I love it! I’d love to stay here for as long as I can!" JB: "What did you feel when you defeated Jackson Oak for the European Championship?" SKC: "When I defeated Jackson I felt..pride..my first title in wrestling…the feeling brought me back to my concerts where I was cheered and supported by everyone in the crowd..it really wasn’t much different, The ring was my stage." JB: "You displayed the South Korean flag on the title instead. How much does the country mean to you, and what should we learn about it?" SKC: "South Korea means the world to me…born and raised up in Korea. When I changed the title it was mostly because I set a record…two matches to win my first title also because it’s the county I love and I think everyone should look into the culture it’s not just K-Pop like people think." JB: "Final question. Which wrestlers on roster are you keeping your eye on as possible new opponent(s)?"
SKC: "I’ve had my eyes on quite a few people on the roster but I recently seen that management has decided to sign my best friend Jiwon so of course I’d like to have a match with him at some point in my time here." JB: "Thank you for your time SKC. Next time on the Squared Circle, we will be speaking to general manager Justice Stone." |
